I would like to start with a story which I heard as kid. It is the story of “Hunter and Pigeons”. In the story of “Hunter and Pigeons”, a hunter spreads out a net and lot of grains to catch pigeons. He then hides in a bush nearby. Soon some pigeons which come flying by see the grains. Seeing no one near the net they fly toward the net without paying any heed to their leader’s warning. As the pigeons start eating the grains the hunter pulls the net and all the pigeons get caught. The pigeons then call their leader for help, who advise them to flap their wings together and fly along with the net. The pigeons thus escape from the hunter but they would still be stuck in the net. The leader thinks about the situation and remembers about his old friend a rat. The rat cuts through the net and sets all the pigeons free.
Are we not like pigeons often trapped in the wrong NETwork?
Now finding answer to this questions I would also want you to think on these questions:
Does your NETwork has strong advisor or a leader?
Is your NETwork made of like-minded people and is strongly bonded?
Is you NETwork reliable?
Human capital is the core of any Network. With every click of the clcok we should make sure to include the right people in our network and expand it. And building network is not a day or year’s work, it is a continuous process. It is that ONE we all should be looking to for scaling our business. The key to this I have understood is Referral Partnering.
How many Referral Partners have you identified or rather built for your business?
If your NETwork has many Referral Partners then your NETworth of NETwork is exponential. If you just have bodies which are sucking your energy and time but yielding you no progress then your referral is making you miserable. These are the energy sappers in your NETwork and it is time to evaluate your referral partners. It is the time to check “Is your NET “working”?”
Time and again the only question you need to answer to yourself Is Your NET working?
